Comments : 

This is cheap but not THAT cheap. It’d get another .5 for value if it were under $10 easily. Lacks length but not complexity. Crushable Carignan blend from one of my top DO’s. Medium on both aroma & flavour intensity. Showing ripe fruit character, going tertiary. Not a style to age. Dry, medium acid, body, tannin & finish. Nose: cherry, blackberry, stewed plum, leather, dried herbs, earthy & pepper notes. Palate: ripe red fruit, black fruit, mint, prune, cracked earth, pepper. Drink now & often.

Red currant, oak.

Dry intense and with character.
